This is perhaps the fastest growing feature for funeral service. Many funeral homes are either adding or updating reception centers with catered food options. Food gives the gathering of friends and relatives a warmer and more social dimension. That is something to look for on websites. Check whether or not the cremation funeral home provides onsite catering or contracts with a local caterer.   If an outside caterer is used, check to see if the funeral home bills include catering costs within the pre-arrangement or whether the caterer will bill you directly.  The choice of food for a cremation memorial service can be as elaborate as a sit down meal or as simple as coffee and baked goods.
