Direct cremation includes transfer of the remains, filing of the documents required in your state or province, transportation to the crematory, and the delivery of the cremated remains to the family.
Also included is a cremation container for the actual cremation. The ashes are delivered in a simple corrugated box, so if an urn is desired, you should contact a local provider. Direct cremation does NOT include any additional services such as viewings, memorialization or services.
While direct cremation is permissible in all states, it is still desirable to consult with your local cremation provider for final arrangements.
